Causes of Migraines:

Women are much more likely than men to be victims, possibly due to the hormonal triggers of the disorder. It is because of dilating or widening cranial blood vessels. In addition, they are also caused by inflammation and the activation of the trigeminal nerve together with the twigs of the trigeminal nerve.

Migraines headaches are a very common problem and unfortunately very under treated even though it is a very treatable condition. With the proper diagnosis and treatment most patients should be able to achieve control of their headaches.
